Green Silence

The Catholics go to mass the sprinklers spitter and spout, the whole world is quiet but my thoughts ring so loud I hear an owl who while the Shimmer Trees shake, the locusts chirp in the trees as the whole world begins to wake The people are silent in their slumber it's nature's time to shine, clouds but no roar of thunder until the bells begin to chime It is the loudest nothingness I have ever heard a language I cannot speak only feel, a symphony of green silence this is where I feel most real A distant plane interrupts the park's mysterious noise, the land remains ever still as the trees hold their poise The breeze makes them chatter I feel my hair blowing with the wind right here nothing else matters I hope this morning will never end.
